Mount Isa may be the biggest city in the electorate of Kennedy but don't expect to see the Greens candidate there anytime soon.

Greens candidate Lyle Burness, drawn no 3 in the ballot, lives in the Atherton Tableland and his Facebook feed shows him attending events along the coast in the lead up to the election.
But when the North West Star asked him if he was planning to visit Mount Isa and North West Queensland, the answer was a disappointing no as he cited a "limited campaign budget".
"I currently have a full-time job, so I'm limited to places I can drive to on weekends," Mr Burness said.
"If I had the the time and money I'd love to get out as far as Mount Isa. Unfortunately, I don't at this point and sadly, I don't have the budget the LNP, ALP or KAP have at their disposal."
Mr Burness said he was campaigning on the need for health, education and broadband services that city people enjoy and take for granted.
"Rural and regional areas like ours have been neglected by short-term thinking and city-based power centres," he said.
However Mr Burness denied he too was ignoring parts of his own electorate.
"All areas of Kennedy matter. I just can't get further west this time," he said.
His campaign website promises "a prosperous local economy built on sustainable agriculture, tourism and clean energy that gives our young people the opportunity to stay here".
Mr Burness also wants to make TAFE training and university free again to "re-skill workers and transition away from a coal-based economy into something new".
