MineX 2019 will take place at Buchanan Park from May 30 to June 1 and organisers Commerce North West said it would be a showcase of the latest innovation, products, services and technology when it comes to the mining sector and associated industry.
The opening day Thursday May 30 will be dedicated to trade and industry buyers only allowing exhibitors maximum opportunity to promote their products and services direct to some of the largest mining, engineering and associated large industry customers from across the North West Queensland Minerals Province.
Commerce North West president Travis Crowther said the day was free for interested buyers to attend.
"Gates will open for the MineX Trade and Industry Only Day from 10am and the program will include tailored business matching appointments where exhibitors are paired for meetings with registered purchasing officers specifically interested in what their business has to offer," Mr Crowther said.
"A means of minimising the time spent by buyers researching the market place, these tailored appointments deliver a form of one-stop-shop while providing exhibitors greater exposure and opportunity from their time at MineX."
There is also a complimentary morning and afternoon tea, a ticketed breakfast and luncheon function, an evening networking function and a large array of guest speakers including Glencore's Operating Officer, Copper North Queensland Matt O'Neill, Capricorn Copper's General Manager Operations Scott Jones and Capricorn Copper and Port of Townsville Trade and Business Development Officer Helaina Bannister.
Interested buyers and trade and industry guests are encouraged to pre-register via the 'Attend Industry Day' tab on the home page of the event website www.minexqld.com.
