"To be honest, if Robbie outplays Willie Tonga, I'll be shouting him all night," Prince said.
The clash between the Traeger MP and footy hardman Tonga is set to be one of many highlights of the night however Prince said he doesn't have a game plan.
"A win would be nice against a quality outfit like the Australian All Stars, but one thing I know about Isa teams is opposing teams have to play well to beat us. Of course we have a team to win," he said.
"As long as everyone enjoys the contest and gets through the game unscathed."
The last time the former Australian international and Broncos legend played in Mount Isa was in 1998 when the Cowboys played a trial game against a Mount Isa rep team in the lead up to the NRL season.
Prince said he was honoured and proud to represent the Linmar All Stars but to captain the team as well was very special.
"It means so much to me to play in my hometown in front of friends, family and people who have played a sufficient part in the person I am today. It's where my dream all started," Prince said.
The team have been meeting at the Alec Inch oval once a week in the lead up to the game.
"No serious training has occurred but I did contact a teammate to get the boys throwing the footy around prior to the game - it's like the old saying, "just like riding a bike!'." Prince said.
As well as Prince and Katter the Mount Isa (and Cloncurry) team features Mount Isa councillor Mick Tully and will also feature Paul Harkin, Dave Bartolo, David "Frog" Hudson, Charles Hill, Kerrod Gibson, Gavin Bunney, Cameron Conlan, Scott Kyle, Chris Thinee, Darren Munns, Brian Gull, Reg Nardoo and Tony Schaefer.
The Australian side is Matt Bowen, Chris Walker, Peter Gill, Nathan Blacklock, John Hopoate, Noel Goldthorpe, Willie Tonga, John Doyle, Bryan Neibling, Craig Teevan, Ben Hannant, Terry Matterson, Kevin Campion, Stu Kelly, Ashley Harrison, Kerry Boustead and Craig Wilson.
The day kicks off at Alec Inch Oval on Saturday May 18 from 11am with the main game starting at 7pm,
