The Mount Isa Irish Club Eisteddfod is in its 53rd year and is considered outback Queensland's biggest and most diverse youth performing arts challenge.
Eisteddfod Association President Daniel Johnson said he can't overstate just how much this new partnership will support the successful future of the event.
"The Irish Club is a long-standing supporter of the Eisteddfod, and this new deal will allow us to create bigger opportunities for regional kids to pursue their passion for the arts, while building a strong and sustainable event that will continue to attract visiting competitors from all over Queensland," Mr Johnson said.
The event attracts more than 500 competitors and their supporters from across the region and broader Queensland.
"A big driver for us is to support young, emerging artists to hone their craft through education bursaries and by bringing workshops and masterclasses with inspiring professionals to the regional.
"This means our kids and their families can get involved without having to head to the coast, which we know for many is cost prohibitive.
"The work we have done to progress the event this year, along with the generous support of the Irish Club, our major sponsors and volunteers, is putting the Eisteddfod in a great place for a strong and successful future," he said.
Mount Isa Irish Club President John Hetherton said the partnership was an important part of the club's commitment to community.
"The Irish Club has deep roots in our community and supporting the Eisteddfod is all about giving kids opportunities in our region; something that is very important to us," Mr Hetherton said.
"We couldn't be prouder to be the Platinum and Naming Rights sponsor of such an iconic event for our community, and we look forward to supporting the growth of the Eisteddfod in the years ahead.
The Eisteddfod has also secured the support of a range of new and returning sponsors in 2019.
"We're very proud to announce the return of Glencore this year as a generous gold sponsor, and we welcome brand new partner Incitec Pivot who jumped at the opportunity to come on board as a gold sponsor for the very first time this year," Mr Johnston said.
"Local dance studio DiLi - Dream it, Live it has cemented its support of regional arts as a silver sponsor this year, alongside new silver sponsor Alliance Airlines."
"New supporter North West Gymnastics has jumped on board as a copper sponsor, alongside long- term Eisteddfod supporters, the Mount Isa School of Dance and Mount Isa Theatrical Society.
"We are grateful for their generosity and it was so rewarding to see just how much support there is out there for the Eisteddfod," Mr Johnson said.
"We truly couldn't do what we do without the chorus of regional businesses and volunteers who have supported our event for more than half a century."
"We'd also like to thank the Mount Isa Basketball Association, who made their facility available at short notice for our satellite Highland competition, which was held last weekend," he said.
The Mount Isa Irish Club Eisteddfod will take place from 7 until 16 June at the Mount Isa Civic Theatre, with morning, afternoon or evening session entry available to the public for just $3.
