Having had the bye in Round 1, the Rhinos took on the Rovers outfit which was seriously undermanned and flogged by Lake Nash in their first game.
Rovers were more competitive second time round but still went down.
Rhinos 14.7 (91) defeated Rovers 6.7 (43).
It was a tight game until half time but Nathan Bowd, who bagged five goals and Michael Pritchard with 4 majors proved the difference for the Rhinos.
Defending champions Buffaloes make it two from two in their big clash with the boys from Alpurrurulam.
The Buff won the game 13.14 92 points to Lake Nash's 8.8 54 points.
Again it was another tight game until it opened up after half time and the buffs shared the load to get the job done on the scoreboard.
Round 3 has Rovers facing off against Buffs and Rhinos will play Tigers in the late game.
