Over 5000 fans crammed into the Oval to watch the Legends clash between the Mount Isa Linmar All Stars and the Australian Legends and they enjoyed a great night of entertainment.
"Hope everyone had a great day. A big thanks to all of the MIRL committee and all of the volunteers that made the day a huge success," Mount Isa Rugby League said on their Facebook page.
"I know the Mount Isa Allstars team had a ball.
"Thanks Again all and International Legends of League, ScottPrince7 for bringing this great game to the Mount Isa community."
The Legends also thanked Mount Isa community for its support and used the North West Star front page photo of Vern Daisy shaking hands with Aussie Legend Pete Gill.

"Vern Daisy thank you for coming from Palm Island and coach the Linmar Mount Isa Allstars Team at the Mount Isa City Council legends game last night," the Legends said.
Meanwhile, there were also two senior MIRL games on Saturday before the Legends match.
Black Stars notched up their first win of the season with a narrow victory over Wanderers, who remain winless after three matches.
In the second game two sides who had won their first match - Brothers and Cloncurry - clashed although the Eagles started strongly, it was Brothers who quickly established ascendancy.
They ran out convincing 76-16 winners and showed they will be a real threat to Townies' hopes of three premierships in a row.
Those two unbeaten sides, Town and Brothers, clash this weekend in what promises to be a cracker.
Black Stars play Cloncurry in the other game, both in Mount Isa.

Town 4 (2), Brothers 4 (2), Cloncurry 2 (2), Black Stars 2 (3), Wanderers 0 (3).
Not long now and Mount Isa will host the senior outback Muster which will add some more excitement to Alec Inch oval.
The Outback Muster is scheduled to be held June 15.
