Country and western star Catherine Britt will be playing a free concert outside Urandangi pub this Saturday afternoon May 25.
The concert will start after 4pm and there will be free camping and a free jumping castle for the kids.
Urandangi pub owner Pam Forster said Britt was coming out to stay at a station and asked if she could
"Because it was private property they couldn't do it so they asked me and I said yes," she said.
Pam said she was looking to a good crowd come in from the stations and down from Mount Isa.
"We will set up a stage on a truck outside the front of the pub, should be great, " she said.
"We play one of her songs all the time here, I didn't even know it was hers, it's Forty Six Miles From Alice".
Estelle Cardiff Kintergarten will do the catering to raise funds to give Mount Isa's first kindy a well over due facelift.
Britt is travelling across Northern Australia and said she was excited to play a few shows in places she'd never played before.
"Hope to meet some new folks along the way," Britt said.
She is also playing Julia Creek Caravan Park on May 22 and the Barkly Homestead on May 27 as she heads towards Kunnanurra.
