This year the Show celebrates its 40th Anniversary and Show secretary Sarah Harvey said Cloncurry has much to celebrate and recognise.
"Our community has achieved much in the past four decades and the Cloncurry and District Show has been proudly showcasing all that regional and north west Queensland has to offer over this time," Ms Harvey said.
This year's show will be the first chance for the community to regroup and celebrate off the back of February's floods which devastated the shire's rural base.
Expect lots of fun in the arena on both days.
Among the acts on offer will be the freestyle motocrosse Aussie FMX, Rooftop Express horse show, Luke's Reptile Kingdom. animal farm, pig racing and Tommy the Train.
There will also be working dog demos, beef jerky comps and the usual cattle, poultry and equestrian sections.
There will also be a rock climbing wall, stilt walkers, a woodchop demo, pavilion displays and the Miss Showgirl competition at Saturday's grand parade.
Watch out also for the ringers rally, demolition derby and the Memphis Moovers.
