Nicki will be performing songs from Carole King's "Tapestry" album, and lots more, in a concert of the same name.
The well-loved favourites will include "I Feel the Earth Move", "A Natural Woman", "Will You Love Me Tomorrow" and "Might As Well Rain Until September", and Nicki will be performing on stage with a live band.
Morning Melodies will be held on Thursday, July 4, from 10am at the Civic Centre.
Devonshire tea will be provided.
The morning is free for senior citizens and disability card holders, who are all encouraged to come along for a morning of wonderful music.
Mayor Joyce McCulloch said the Morning Melodies events were always very well received by local senior citizens and she was delighted to be able to bring the immensely talented Nicki Gillis to Mount Isa audiences.
"Our seniors always very much enjoy these events, and I know so many of them will love the 'Tapestry' show, which has been getting so many rave reviews," Cr McCulloch said.
The "Tapestry" concert will also be performed in-house at the Laura Johnson Home later that day for Home residents who are unable to travel.
