A 29-year-old Mount Isa man faced four drug charges in Mount Isa Magistrates Court on Monday June 10.
Brent Riley Sheppard plead guilty to attempt to commit offence possessing dangerous drugs, possess property suspected of having been used in connection with commission of a drug offence, possess utensils or pipes that had been used and possessing dangerous drugs.
The court heard how on January 21 police executed a search warrant at a Mount Isa residential address and located 30.5 grams of cannabis. Police also located pipes, vials, scales and clip seal bags.
The court also heard how in November 2018, Sheppard was in the possession of 20.4 grams of cannabis.
Sheppard provided no lawful reason on either occasion to possess dangerous drugs stating it was all for personal use.
Sheppard was issued a $700 fine.
