Organised by Mount Isa City Council with the help of a state community grant, it helped celebrate the 160th birthday of Queensland.
The Beef was the free burgers served up to the hungry masses while local band Bulldust provided the Beats.
You had to be a little more imaginative to see the Beach for the volleyball where the grass of Mount Isa replaced the sands of the coast.
Gecko Outdoor Sports provided free kids' activities, and there was also a jumping castle and face-painting.
Mount Isa Mayor Joyce McCulloch said it was great the community came out to support Queensland Day.
She also said Johnathan Thurston would be a special guest at the upcoming Isa Street Festival in Rodeo Week.
