Transport and Main Roads (TMR) District Director Kylee Petersen said the department was proud to once again support this important event.
"TMR has been sponsoring the Cloncurry and District Show since 2005, we feel it's an important part of our role in the local community to support events like this," Ms Petersen said.
"The Cloncurry Show is more than just fairy floss, baking and side show alley. It's a chance for the community to come together and celebrate the year."
Ms Petersen said supporting the event was important this year to show support for the region in the wake of unprecedented flooding that devastated North West Queensland.
"The resilience shown by this outback community has been nothing short of inspiring," she said.
"The ability to react and recover from such a hard-hitting event shows how strong people are out here."
TMR chose the theme 'Resilience in the Outback' for their display at the show this year.
"Almost four months after the devastating floods that hit the district, the community is rebuilding and TMR is here to help out," Ms Petersen said.
"I encourage everyone to visit our display and to ask staff any questions. TMR will be provide an insight into the QldTraffic website and how it can be used to navigate Queensland roads effectively."
The Cloncurry and District Show will run for two days, 14-15 June, at the Cloncurry Showgrounds.
