Three LNP candidates were elected including Cloncurry's Susan McDonald as well as one ALP, One Green and one Pauline Hanson One Nation.
The six winning candidates in order of their election were Paul Scarr (LNP), Nita Green (ALP), Susan McDonald (LNP), Malcolm Roberts (PHON), Gerald Rennick (LNP) and Larissa Waters (Greens).
Susan McDonald offered her thanks on Facebook
"Thank you to the tireless volunteers, the BBQers and P&Cs, the AEC and all Queenslanders for making our democratic process the best," Senator-elect McDonald said.
The new senators will take their place in parliament on July 1.
