On Tuesday, June 25, Cr McCulloch and CEO Sharon Ibardolaza presented Greg Hovi, Ron Olsen, Benjamin Dresman and Don Shevelling with their long-service certificates and gifts.
Mr Hovi is council's water and sewer project officer and plumbing inspector and was recognised for reaching his 30-year service anniversary at Tuesday's presentation.
He commenced with council in 1982 as a plumber, before becoming the leading hand for the water and sewer department, and later the section's coordinator.
"Greg's immense wealth of knowledge in the water and sewer area continued to develop, along with his unfathomable memory of the network's characteristics and configuration, making him the council contact that everyone has come to depend on for locations and information about the system," Ms Ibardolaza said.
Mr Olsen is Council's IT support officer, and was commended for his 10 years of service with council.
Ms Ibardolaza said council acknowledges and appreciates Mr Olsen's hard work and the technical skills he has put in to produce effective solutions and IT strategies for the council.
Mr Dresman is the assistant plant operator at the wastewater treatment plant and was recognised for his 10 years of service with council.
Mr Dresman started at council as a labourer at the treatment plant and completed his certificate as a treatment plant operator in 2013.
While Mr Shevelling was recently thanked for his 20-year service anniversary with council, he was also belatedly thanked for his 10-year anniversary on Tuesday.
Cr McCulloch commended the four for their decades of invaluable hard work and dedication to the community and the city, and said they helped make the vision of the elected members of council a reality.
"We listen to the community feedback and make the decisions, but it's you people on the ground that make it happen," Cr McCulloch said.
"I can't thank you enough - the work you do in the community is enormous, and you all do a great job."
