Called "MyTime" it is a federal government-supported innovative group for parents and carers who have children between the ages of 0-18 living with a disability, developmental delays and / or a chronic medical condition.
There are two sessions on this month.
On Tuesday July 23 from 9.30-11.30am there will be a 30 minute yoga session followed by self-care tips and guest speaker Collen Lowe.
That will take place at Mount Isa Special School - 116 Marian St
Then on Tuesday July 30 from 9.30-11.30pm there will be the "triple Cs", coffee, cake and chats at the Buffs Club.
Sessions will continue at the same time each Tuesday throughout August and into September.
Cootharinga North Queensland said they would love for parents and carers to come along and join in share the experience, feel supported, and just unwind.
"It is a world away from all the appointments and therapy parents and carers attend for the children," Cootharinga said.
