The latest round is worth $9000 and opens on Monday, July 15, with applications to close a month later.
Deputy Mayor Phil Barwick said it was a special additional funding round for local arts projects.
"We're trying to attract local artists and groups who have a project in mind for visual arts and/or performing arts, and it would be great for them to involve capacity-building within the community while they're doing it," Cr Barwick said.
"There are a lot of examples of art in town at the moment and we want to continue this arts agenda for the beautification and liveability of the city. We've had a good representation of groups during the year."
"It's been a mix between the different arts genres, and we're pretty happy with the way it's going. "We look forward to another good year of projects after this round."
The funding is for projects that will start in September, and was made available by the State Government, through Arts Queensland, in partnership with Council.
