Police said that at 6am Wednesday June 3, a boy gained entry to a Banks Cres dwelling, by removing the rear window.
Upon police arrival, the boy was still inside the dwelling, speaking with occupants.
Police will allege that once arriving at the Mount Isa watch house, the boy refused to comply with multiple directions and became aggressive.
A 16-year-old Sunset boy was charged with one count of trespass, wilful damage and obstruct police.
He will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
