Police said that between 1.20am and 2.20am on Monday July 1, a man has walked the perimeter of a Philp Street premises in Normanton testing padlocks, before successfully entering the building via an unlocked rear roller door.
It is further alleged the man has then used an implement to prise open an office door to gain entry.
The man has conducted a search of the office area, before removing a number of property items including a laptop, Xbox console, a small safe containing a small sum of cash and a duffel bag, which he used to carry the items.
A 39-year-old Normanton man has been charged with enter premises by break and was due to appear in the Normanton Magistrates Court on July 8.
