The Cloncurry Stockman's Challenge and Campdraft in now its 35th year and today attracting world-class competitors and young up and coming performance horses from far and wide.
The Cloncurry Equestrian Centre was packed with hundreds of competitors from all over Queensland and beyond for five days of action and over 1200 rides in many categories though the wind during the week made life a little difficult.
The highlight on Thursday off the track was the visit of new Governor-General David Hurley and wife Linda.
The Stockmans Challenge continues until Sunday.
