The region's popular Health Expo will return to Mount Isa in 2019 with a new name, as Lisa Davies Jones, Chair of the Health Expo Working Group explains.

"We have re-named the Health Expo, from Mount Isa Health Expo to the North West Health Expo, given the breadth of health services represented at the biennial event," Ms Jones said.
"We wanted to achieve consistency of branding across the region and not limit ourselves or the services represented, to Mount Isa.
"There is a lot of movement across the North West from many providers including the major partners in the Expo.
"Collaboratively our health services cover as far and wide as Mornington Island to Dajarra, from Camooweal to Julia Creek and many places in between."
The North West Health Expo will be held at the Mount Isa Civic Centre on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 August 2019.
"This will be the fourth hosting of the event and with its growing reputation there is a great deal of enthusiasm from our partners and all involved," Ms Jones said.
"We will shortly be opening up opportunities for sponsors and health, wellness and active lifestyle exhibitors to join us."
