More than 50 locals attended with their fluffy friends, ranging from dogs, cat, horses, guinea pigs and goats.
A special dog training show was held by Pauline MacLeod showcasing many of her dogs tricks and obedience training skills.
The Mount Isa Pets Day held Doggie Hair and Fashion competition with prizes to be won.
The day facilitated free pet checks, stalls, food and refreshments for humans and animals alike.
Mount Isa City Council hope to host the event next year.
