MICE is providing the musical backbone to the show which is on over three nights.
It boasts 10 different ensembles and almost all have a feature moment in the show.
The MICE Symphony Orchestra, billed as the most remote symphony orchestra in the world, will be providing the musical backbone boosted by friends from Best of Brass and the Queensland Conservatorium.
Each ensembles has been rehearsing weekly the skilled voluntary direction of ensemble directors and once a month the QMF creative team visits conducted by Warwick Tyrell under the musical direction of Steve Russell.
The show features William Barton, Megan Sarmardin, and bobcat dancing among other attractions
The Mount Isa Blast preview is on at the Rodeo arena on Thursday July 25 followed by another two performances on Friday and Saturday July 26 and 27.
Tickets are free but you must reserve them at QMF.
