He insists an LNP Government won't bring in any new taxes and will freeze coal royalties for ten years.

But he is also promising to pull infrastructure spending from his hat like the proverbial white rabbit.

Smoke and mirrors aside, the big question on the lips of every Queenslander is how will Deb Frecklington and Tim Mander pay for their $7 billion in unfunded promises.

With no details being given, the LNP's $7 billion black hole is beginning to look more like the magic pudding.

In contrast, the Palaszczuk Government has a strong economic plan that provides the jobs, infrastructure and services that Outback Queensland needs.

We're investing $436 million in local infrastructure, supporting around 1600 jobs.

Upgrades to the Barkly Highway, refurbishing local schools and restoring frontlines services are just some of our commitments.

The only way Deb Frecklington, Tim Mander and the LNP can pay for their $7 billion in unfunded promises is to cut, sack and sell.

That's what the LNP always does.

All the LNP has is a white rabbit, a magic pudding and few sprinkles of fairy dust for good measure.

That's not a plan for Queensland, it's fantasy land.

The review into the devastating bushfires that tore through parts of Queensland last year was a Labor exercise in public relations spin when it should have been about saving communities.

Following the fortnight of brutal fires, the community had severe concerns about the mismanagement of fuel loads and fire breaks on state-controlled land.

Labor's review failed to investigate these fundamental issues. Instead, the report simply told us what we already knew - that our emergency service workers did an amazing job. This report was all about the Labor Government saving face rather than dealing with core issues of bushfire prevention and poor preparedness.

We know nearly 1000 less Hazard Reduction Burns were conducted and attended by the Queensland Fire and Emergency Service in 2018 compared to 2015. Labor has taken zero responsibility.

Instead, Annastacia Palaszczuk made farmers the scapegoat.

Labor blamed farmers for being confused over vegetation management laws instead of looking at their own management of state-controlled land and National Parks.

Blaming farmers for bushfires is an appalling new low for Labor. It's a completely biased interpretation of what contributed to last year's disaster.

The report acknowledged many submissions on the mismanagement of state-controlled land and issues with getting fire permits approved, but it failed to offer a single recommendation to fix the issues.

This report has been completely sanitised and was designed to distract Queenslanders from the failure of the Labor government to manage state-controlled land.

Regional Queenslanders see straight through Labor's spin. After last year's devastating fires, the LNP called for a parliamentary inquiry into the fire.

This parliamentary inquiry would have investigated whether the state Labor Government deliberately, or through its own mismanagement, allowed Queensland to become susceptible to bushfires.

Only the LNP is listening and only the LNP will get our land management practices and fire mitigation activities on the right track.
