A recent report (Nutrition and Dietetics Journal Feb 2018), states that prisoners get more money spent on their food per day, than our elderly in aged care.

On the 16th of July this year, celebrity chef Maggie Beer gave evidence stating that $7 a day ration in our aged care facilities is starvation.
I know there is not a voter out there anywhere (apart from rampant leftie lily pad wonders), who would think this is anywhere acceptable.
Why, after a year, from the original report was nothing done?
Why are criminals treated better than the wonderful generation who founded, built and established our economy?
We have appeased, tolerated and paid for this mess of a justice system for too long.
Surely out there everyone who cares can see this.
For too long the criminals have been given television, steak, games, internet, money, pizza when they trash facilities and media coverage when they spit, hit, attack and wound our corrective service personal.
The revolving door mentality certainly seems to be giving the criminals what they want, but leaving the ones paying for the nightmare totally without.
Who talks to our 'leaders', and convinces them that teenagers who steal cars, should be given better than the elderly, who talks to our leaders and tells them that we have to coddle, hug, kiss and given in to these monsters?
We all know that some hard labour, teaching them a trade, taking privileges away and giving them a stark taste of reality would work.
Does becoming a politician make you blind to all this?
It is about time, that the thousands of texts, letters and sad media stories of people who have been victims get the same treatment as the morons dishing out the crimes in our city, state and country.
These so-called Leaders are looking to people who have not delivered and have not been able to teach any criminal a lesson.
They just say "keep doing the same and maybe some of them will change."
Really, how has that worked so far?
Millions of dollars a month is spent on a detention centre in Townsville, to deliver more of the same heartbreak and crime to that city.
Now the final straw, our elderly who have worked and created our wonderful country have been left to suffer more at the hands of the 'touchy feely brigade who are remove from humanity and reality'.
Voters, at the next state election it is time to take the safety of our State, our elderly and our cars back into the hands of those who will get a result.
It is clear that Liberal/Labor/Greens cannot, have not and will not deliver safety and wellbeing to our elderly.
Or us, any of us law abiding citizens for that matter.
Here we are in 2019 having multiple reports of starving elderly in our aged care homes, while criminals get rump steak and internet on tap.
What possible excuse can these so-called leaders have to justify this madness?
Oh, I know.
We have to remember those poor kiddies may have come from abuse or poverty.
Well here is a news flash.
Our elderly are going through that poverty and abuse right now and their precious voice needs to be heard.
