Acting Assistant Principal Jade Marinelli said her students were now fresh from their week long journey of dance, drama, music and song.
"The week long 'Mulkadee' challenges students to put together a public performance standard presentation in just five days under the tutelage of some of the region's most accomplished conductors, directors and arts teachers, " Ms Marinelli said.
"Mulkadee, which is an Indigenous word meaning dream of spirit coming together, brings Catholic schools together from across the Townsville diocese for the week long program."
Ms Marinelli said students spent the week working together to develop a performance with the theme of Peter Pan which was presented to over 2000 people on the Friday night at the Townsville Entertainment Centre.
"Over 900 students who attend school within the Diocese are part of the show," she said.
The Mulkadee Youth Arts Festival is the only event of its kind in Australia, offering a week-long program of artistic workshops led by professional instructors in the areas of choir, dance, drama, band, guitar and strings.
