The opening do or die clash is between third placed Brothers and fourth placed Wanderers at 2:20pm, with the loser eliminated.
The second match sees minor premiers Townies suit up against Black Stars at 4pm.
The game looks set to be a cracker with the Starries handing Townies one of their few losses last time they met.
The winner goes into the grant final with the losing side playing the winner of the first game, next weekend.
Townies president Sean Wade said this weekend is a new season.
"We finished as minor premiers but that means nothing now," Wade said.
"We are up against Black Stars and the last time we played them they beat us quite convincingly so there has been a lot of preparation going into this weeks game."
Wade said he was hopeful all his players would be back.
"Fingers crossed we have a full strength side because we will need it playing Black Stars."
The game will take place at Alec Inch Oval Saturday August 17.
