Students from Dajarra State School travelled to Mount Isa for the third year in a row to present a magical performance to fellow peers at St Kieran's on Thursday August 15.
The performance was in partner with The Storey Players who is a not-for-profit theatre company whose principal mission is empowering disadvantaged kids through drama workshops.
The Storey Players founder Simon Storey said his company used drama to help students in a variety of ways.
"Our company also focuses on storytelling activities to further their education, improve their well-being, strengthen their resilience and self-worth and increase their communication skills," Mr Storey said.
Mr Storey said his main mission was to build young kids confidence.
"We work with children in remote communities where they don't get the chance to participate in drama activities so our main mission is too build their confidence to aid their education," he said.
The creative team of Simon and Tina Storey have over 40 years of combined experience in theatre and dance between them both in Europe and Australia.
They began working together in 'Footslog English Language Theatre' in Germany which toured various shows throughout Europe and have continued their work, albeit in a different direction, here in Australia by founding The Storey Players.
