A 44-year-old woman has been charged following an incident with an axe and sledgehammer in Normanton.

Between the hours of 4.30am and 6.50am on Friday August 9, it is alleged a 44-year-old woman has entered an address on Balonne Street, Normanton.
A female occupant told the woman to leave, and a verbal argument about property items ensued.
It is alleged the woman then armed herself with an axe and sledgehammer and chased the occupant around the yard.
It is further alleged the victim took shelter in the house.
However the woman then began hitting the side of the dwelling with the weapons, before walking off.
Police attended the scene.
A 44-year-old Normanton woman has been charged with one count each of going armed so as to cause fear, threatening violence and wilful damage.
She will appear in the Normanton Magistrates Court on Monday September 2.
