A man has been charged after the crash which claimed the life of a roadtrain driver near Cloncurry on March 12.

The 32-year-old truckie was pronounced dead at the scene when a road train and a ute collided on the Barkly Highway around 40km west of Cloncurry.
On Wednesday August 21 police from Cloncurry travelled to Rockhampton to formally interview the driver of the white utility involved in the crash.
A 49-year-old man, formerly of Cloncurry, now of Rockhampton was charged with offences of Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Death, and Drive with Relevant Drug in Blood.
He will appear in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court on 20 September 2019.
Snr Sgt Brad Rix said the proceedings were are a culmination of an investigation of an incident in which a professional truck driver lost his life.
"The investigation was reliant upon support from the community, specifically other road users, and of which the investigating Police are very appreciative," Snr Sgt Rix said.
