However this has not deterred their courageous efforts with some huge wins and securing the North West Queensland Soccer Zone minor premiership.
Parkside player Rhiannon Howard said although struggling for numbers the effort had been massive.
"We have 11 ladies in the team but play with seven or eight most weeks, and the lack of numbers hasn't slowed us down at all," Ms Howard said.
"The ladies that play every week show a great sense of dedication to the team, especially knowing how much work they will have to do in a game to make up for the missing players."
Ms Howard said all of her players played hard, but singled out Gabrielle Holder in particular.
"Gabrielle Holder, is constantly adjusting her position on the field and making great plays for our striker Brooke Giardina," she said.
"Gabrielle plays all over the park, defending, attacking and scoring some brilliant goals. I have no doubt that we will fight hard in the grand final next week and pull out another win."
