With the new bridge and its 22 beams in place, attention is starting to turn to the roundabout on the west side of the river.
Fourth Avenue access will be closed in preparation for the roundabout works as of Monday, September 9.
This means there will be no access from Fourth Avenue through to Isa St for the duration of the project which is scheduled to complete around the end of November.
This will affect all vehicles travelling Northbound via Fourth Avenue and also means there will no longer be pedestrian access to the Family Fun Park and pool from Isa street.
Access to BMX club and bowls club will remain open and pedestrian access to school will remain open.
