Around 9.30pm on September 8, two men were drinking at a Barkly Highway licensed premises, when they allegedly walked behind the bar and removed cans of alcohol from a fridge.

Staff members attempted to remove the men from the premises, when one of the male staff members was allegedly pushed by one of the offenders. A physical altercation has ensued, with both men punching the male victim in the head and body.
A female staff member has allegedly attempted to intervene, however was punched and kicked repeatedly.
The two men left the licensed premises with stolen cans of alcohol.
A 30-year-old Gulliver man and 29-year-old Sunset man have both been charged with two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm whilst in company and one count of stealing.
Both men are due to appear in the Mount Isa Magistrates Court on October 14.
