Police are questioning a man after a fight which spilled onto the road at the Mount Isa suburb of Pioneer led to a 16-year-old boy being hit by a car which did not stop at the scene.

Around 40 to 50 people were involved in a brawl near Abel Smith Pde on Saturday evening when a 16-year-old boy went on to the road.
The boy was struck by a vehicle which did not stop.
The boy was taken to Mount Isa Hospital and then taken to Townsville in a serious condition.
Police later impounded a vehicle and are questioning a man in relation to the accident.
