The flight currently leaves Brisbane 10.10am every Wednesday and the return trip leaves Cloncurry at 1.30pm.
However the last scheduled service is Wednesday October 23 with no flights from the following Wednesday.
That leaves return flights from Cloncurry to Brisbane on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Cloncurry travellers wishing to fly to Brisbane on Wednesday will have to book via Qantas and change in Mount Isa for a 6 hour 20 minute travel time.
The change comes after Virgin recorded a massive financial year loss with the company saying they would look at removing flights and routes.
Virgin Australia have been contacted for comment.
