Action started in the campdraft arena on Friday and went through to Sunday but Saturday was the big day in town at the rodeo arena.
It's a big community event sponsored by Incitec Pivot and put on with the help of Cloncurry Shire Council and an enthusiastic team of volunteers in their bright pink shirts.
Even the local school, 150km south of Mount Isa, got involved with artwork at the grounds.
The night ends with the famous wild camel ride as competitors get the hump as they hang on up high for dear life.
