Woman charged after wounding on Mornington Island
On Sunday, September 22 a 19-year-old Wellesley Islands woman was charged with wounding, possession of a knife in a public place and contravening release conditions after an alleged altercation with a man who was known to her.

At around 3am the man and woman were walking together on Dijinkia Street when the woman has allegedly run at the man with a knife, stabbing him in the back, resulting in a 3cm long laceration.
The 19-year-old woman is due to appear in the Mornington Island Magistrates Court on November 7.
