Competitors and visitors of all ages will head to the fishing classic over three days from October 25-27.
The event will be held at Blackrock Park under the picturesque red rock hills of the Selwyn Ranges.
Event coordinator Tiffany Waddell-Wood said the fish were getting bigger with a great wet season at the start of the year.
"The lake is looking fantastic for another classic," Ms Waddell-Wood said.
"The weather is starting to warm up and we know the fish are getting hungry so anyone has the chance to reel in a good one."
Ms Waddell-Wood said there were six fish species to catch with over 20 prize categories up for grabs including junior, senior and mystery weight sections.
The event will have live music, food, bar, children's activities and the popular pluka duk novelty competition for everyone on and off the water.
Tickets are $50 for senior and $15 for junior nominations and camping is available.
