About 5000 people headed over to Tony White Oval in Mount Isa on Friday October 18 for the Rock, Pop and Mime extravaganza.
Event organiser Fred Frost said this year there was 15 acts that performed on the night from 11 schools.
"We had three teams come from Cloncurry and one from School of the Air and of course all of the Mount Isa schools," Mr Frost said
"There was roughly 450 performers ranging from juniors all the way to lower secondary."
Barkly Highway State School was named overall winner in both the Junior Primary and Senior Primary categories.
Spinifex State College - Mount Isa won in Junior Secondary.
Healy State School - Murrijunda won the Daphne Tulloch Music Award.
Mount Isa Apex Club thanked all schools for competing in this year's Rock Pop Mime.
