ISPT said in a statement the hub will offer further support for the Simpson Street retail precinct by providing increased police and security presence.
Amanda Brookes, Property Investment Manager, ISPT said this joint initiative provides a fresh approach to security and safety for local business operators and the community.
"The Community Security Office is a collaborative venture anticipated to enhance the comfort and safety for local business owners and the Mount Isa community," Ms Brookes said.
"Mount Isa Village and ISPT are committed to being part of the local community and look forward to offering a more enjoyable experience for our valued shoppers, retailers and the Mount Isa community."
The office will be situated in Shop 49 near the public transport interchange, facing Simpson Street.
The official opening of the hub will be on Thursday November 7.
