With almost 300 tickets sold it was the first time the Ball had moved to the bigger venue from its previous home of the Overlander Hotel.
The event honours excellence in the community services sector and this year's MCs were Trish McNamara and Melissa Eggmolesse.
Ms McNamara said the awards were created as it was felt the Mount Isa business awards did not adequately cover the community services.
"Six years ago we decided to put a ball on, and what a popular event that proved to be," Ms McNamara said.
Winners on the night included the Mount Isa PCYC and the Mount Isa Youth Shelter while Aunty Karen West and Alvin Hava won lifetime achievement awards.
