The Harley Owners Group Mount Isa Chapter is helping many families across town to have a joyous Christmas this year.
Conducting their annual Toy Run on November 30, the HOGs will ride around Mount Isa collecting presents for distribution to disadvantaged families.
Mount Isa HOGs secretary Ron Pertovt said they coordinate the Toy Run every year in conjunction with the Salvation Army.
"We have about 30 bikes that supporting this initiative each year because it helps bring toys to kids during the festive season," Mr Pertovt said.
"Christmas is all about giving and we want to help give back to the community for Christmas."
Mr Pertovt said there were many ways residents could get on board.
"This ride is not just restricted to the Mount Isa HOGs Chapter, anyone with a bike can join in on the ride and bring cheer to many families," he said.
"Otherwise if locals would like Santa to stop by on his Harley and collect your unwrapped gift, you can call David on 0407 467 764 to arrange it.
"Alternatively donations can be dropped off at Ozzie Outdoors."
The Toy Run will commence on Saturday November 30 at 9am from Outback at Isa and finish at the Overlander Hotel.
