The QCSS recently held a two-day event at the Buchanan sports complex on November 12-13.
The event invited everyone from across the whole of the Mount Isa community to work together and create a place where everyone contributed.
Senior manager for QCOSS Laura Barnes said the event had been a beautiful conversation where people had come together and built relations with one another.
"These projects have shown us we can deliver real change within the Mount Isa community," Ms Barnes said.
The four projects included a healing space for young people, working with women and leadership roles, family well-being, and children's well-being.
"We have a range of people from the state government, community, traditional owners and work," Ms Barnes said.
"We also have a yarning circle where people have been voicing their opinion and exploring issues and finding answers.
"Some of these stories have been very inspirational."
Ms Barnes said they have found better cross cultural understanding, differences in communication and further knowledge on how to own our white privilege.
