Mr Rieck has been a board member for three years and was re-elected at the chamber's annual general meeting on November 20.
However according to the new constitution positions on the board are no longer allocated at the AGM but at the first meeting afterwards.
The latest chamber newsletter has confirmed Mr Rieck as president with Jennifer Termine-Toth of Andii Mihay Events named as secretary and Joe Castellano, 4LM 666 Mount Isa named as treasurer.
The other board members are Justine Cole of TAFE Queensland, Chris Boshoff of Heavymech, Jessica James of Ibis Styles Hotel and Emma Harman.
Ms Harman will also take on a part-time paid role for the chamber in 2020.
The AGM also saw the retirement of long-standing president, Travis Crowther, along with secretary, Danielle Burns and board member, Karen Graham.
"We continue to thank all three delegates for their time and efforts committed towards Commerce North West," the chamber said.
