Minister for Employment and Small Business, Shannon Fentiman, visited Airside Logistics who have employed eight people through the program since 2016.
"Back to Work supports local businesses to have the confidence to be able to create more local jobs," Ms Fentiman said.
"We know some people are still struggling to find the right opportunity and that's what this program does.
"Chani Hepburn and Fran Stark both started working at Airside Logistics through the back to Work program and have continued their employment after the program was finished. And Heather McCrindle started working at Airside Logistics four months ago."
Ms Fentiman said last week a total of 350 jobs was reached in Mount Isa through the program, with more than half of them being for Queenslanders aged 15-24.
"This is a program that's all about providing opportunities for Queenslanders to get a job while supporting businesses to be able to take on more employees.
"I encourage any employer out there, if you are considering taking on someone new for your business, then see if you are eligible for the Back to Work program."
Employers are encouraged to visit www.qld.gov.au/backtowork or call 13 QGOV (13 74 68) for more information about Back to Work, to apply for an employer support payment or connect with their local Back to Work team.
