Locals travelled around to 30 houses on Sunday December 8 to view some local Christmas light creativity and get in the Christmas spirit.
Despite the event being held a week earlier then past years, event organiser Megan Crowther said numbers remained consistent.
"We had about 100 cars, so it was great to see numbers remain the same," Ms Crowther said.
"It was another successful event and this year we had the biggest amount of vehicles dress up for the event.
"As we were driving around on Sunday we had a few extra vehicles join the cavalcade which was great to see."
Winner of the best dressed vehicle went to the Smith family.
"The Smith family was very innovative and creative," Ms Crowther said.
"They had lights, tinsel, Santa and a reindeer strapped to the top of the car."
Ms Crowther said the event would be back again next year due to her love for Christmas.
"I love Christmas so it's always fun to host this event," she said.
"Thank you to all our sponsors because without them this event wouldn't be possible."
If you missed out on the cavalcade, a full tour program is on the Mount Isa Christmas Lights Tour Facebook page.
