Police received a number of calls for service, regarding several stolen motor vehicles and burglary offences. Some of the charges laid include burglary, enter premises, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and dangerous operation of a vehicle.
Youths from Townview, Healy, Pioneer and Sunset aged between 13 and 16 have been with between eight and 20 offences each.
- A 14-year-old Townview boy has been charged with 20 offences.
- A 15-year-old Healy boy has been charged with 14 offences.
- A 14-year-old Pioneer boy has been charged with 14 offences.
- A 16-year-old Sunset girl has been charged with 12 offences.
- A 15-year-old Townview boy has been charged with nine offences.
- A 13-year-old Pioneer boy has been charged with nine offences.
- A 14-year-old Pioneer boy has been charged with eight offences.
All will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act and investigations are continuing.
