Ladies first. Topping the chart for most popular Australian girl name in 2019 was Amelia, who snatched the crown from 2018 winner, Ava.
Isla crept up the chart to regain the number two position. Charlotte came in at number three while Ava came in at number four.
Olivia charted at number five, while Mia slid down to sixth place.
Number seven saw Lily move up the charts alongside number eight, Willow.
Charting number nine was Sophia and in tenth place was Zoe.
In the top 100, there were a few fresh names, including Sadie, Hallie, Maggie, Everly, Lara, Eden, Nora and Remi.
As for baby boys, resolute Oliver has kept his crown for the amazing eighth year in a row - will he ever be dethroned?
Coming in second was Noah, followed by Leo and Lucas, respectively.
In fifth place was Jack, and Charlie remained strong in sixth place.
Seventh was William who has slipped out of the top five, and eighth was Henry.
Luca came up 15 places this year to take out ninth place, followed by Thomas in tenth.
Newcomer Kobe flew into number 67, together with a crop of other new names: Miles, Mateo, River, Leon, Christian, Hamish, Owen and Fletcher.
How about Bogan baby names?
However there were some unusually bogan names that were also made a list in 2019.
Get comfortable and feast your eyes upon this fresh batch of bogan gems from the Book of Bogan Baby Names.
The top bogan baby name was.... Anomaly. As for these parents we believe they should have googled it before they inked it.
Number two was Antwohnette. Lets be honest we have to giggle a little bit when parents take a regular name and alter the spelling to make it look as bogan as it sounds when they say it.
Coming in at number three was Charmayanne followed close by in fourth place by Panda.
Number five was Sianna- Marrie, these parents are really making it difficult for their children to learn how to spell their names.
Sixth place was Snowdrop. I thought these parents had annoyingly combined "snowflake" and "raindrop", but it turns out a snowdrop is a flower.
Ranking seventh was Starlette, followed by Velvette in eighth. Could you imagine twins named Starlette and Velvette? haha
Ninth was Vin'nyla followed by Windy in 10th place (keep your mind off the fart jokes).
