Golden Oaks owner Viliame Temo treated his clients to a special Christmas party on Saturday December 14 to say thank you to everyone who has been part of the club and to highlight their achievements.
"Our Christmas party was amazing, the feast was huge with all types of food but also traditional Fijian food," Golden Oaks spokesperson Sigrid Tagaloa said.
"It was a really great year for the club, the membership went up, we had some great results and we extended the size of the gym and the women's classes have grown."
Ms Tagaloa said the club was such a family run gym.
"Anyone can take their kids to the gym and it feels like a home and Villiame goes above and beyond even though he also works full time," she said.
Mr Temo said he didn't like to congratulate individuals on their achievements but if he had to it would be young Linkyn Macmillan.
"Linkyn Macmillan took out the National Golden Gloves title this year which was a huge achievement for himself and the club," Mr Temo said.
Golden Oaks property owner Robert Rendall said the club had come a long way in just three years.
"To think that it started as just an empty space and a conversation a few years back to what it has become is unreal," Mr Rendell said.
