Norman, a brahman calf who was orphaned at birth on December 5, was saved from euthanasia after the Normanton Officer in Charge, Senior Sergeant Mark Corry, agreed to adopt the calf from Maggiville cattle station.
Norman is bringing so much joy to the Officers at Normanton Police Station and is keeping the officers on their toes with bottle feeding, daily pats and frequent interaction to improve socialisation with people and animals alike.
Norman is progressing well and putting on weight and he is being trained in walking around on a lead so that Normanton Police Officers can lead him in various yearly functions and street parades held frequently in Normanton.
Normanton Police Officers are looking forward to raising Norman and have welcomed him into their Police family.
