Mount Isa City Council said the remaining work is expected to be completed within the next three weeks.
"The remaining works include the completion of setting up and pouring of remaining medians, the modification of an existing walkway to align with the shape of the roundabout, the installation of signage, marking out new line-marking and blanking out old markings, and applying a decorative finish to the large areas of concrete surfacing," a council spoke person said.
The roundabout's Camooweal Street (north-south) approaches and exits will all be two lanes each upon completion of the works.
A 40km speed limit will remain in the area until the roundabout is fully complete.
